About Minority Awareness Scheme Section
The Minority Cell (Minority Awareness Scheme Section) was established in the year 2013 under the aegis of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to spread awareness about various schemes run by State Government as well as Centeral Government for the welfare of notified minority communities namely Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Muslim and Parsis.The Minority Cell is Working with the vision to enable all the minorities to lead productive lives with equal opportunities in the field of Education. The main function of the department is to focus on educational concessions for minority Students.There are many schemes for the upliftment of minorities, but due to lack of awareness they don’t get benefits of all those schemes. So, we organize camps in all over Delhi and other states every year. It is our endeavor to extend the benefits of all the schemes run by government to the minorities.
